To deliver highly specialist clinical work as part of the multidisciplinary team. This includes working with young people within a youth justice setting.
To provide highly specialist multi-disciplinary clinical input to Wigan Youth Justice Service and work alongside other SLTs working within Youth Justice.
To assess and treat own caseload of patients maintaining own records as an autonomous practitioner.
There is a strong support and advisory element within this role.

The service requires a highly specialist Speech & Language practitioner to plan, develop and co-ordinate the Speech and Language Therapy service to young people within a youth justice setting.
This post is based at Leigh Town Hall but will require working within the community.
Substantial specialist experience is required. This is a development post open to those at Band 6-7 level. Starting salary will be set at the point closest to or matched at existing salary and support provided to progress towards and through Band 7.
