We have an opening for a Senior to Principal Level Geo-Environmental Engineer for our West of England, Milton Keynes or new West Midlands offices with scope for hybrid working.

Responsibilities
* Quoting and design of ground investigation works, both Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental
* Scheduling contamination, waste classification and geotechnical laboratory testing
* Design of remediation works and validation
* Interpretative geo-environmental report writing
* Project management and client liaison, including some project cost control
* Mentor and line managing junior staff.
* Good HSEQ understanding
* Full clean driving license
* When needed due to work load, carry out Site Contamination Assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3.
* When needed due to work load, carry out Site Investigation for geotechnical appraisal, infiltration testing and combined investigations using all common techniques.
A thorough technical understanding of interpretative geotechnical report for ground investigations and contaminated land legislation and consultancy would be required. Also a working understanding of the EIA process and reporting would be advantageous.
Qualifications
The candidate would be degree qualified in a relevant field, with a related Masters Degree being advantageous, as would be Chartership with a relevant body.
The candidate must have greater than 6 years experience specialising in Ground Investigation, and geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy.
The ideal candidate would have a good HSEQ record, have a HSEQ qualification and be competent at project management and also managing and mentoring junior staff.
