The appointee will work with enthusiastic and supportive colleagues across the region to improve the comprehensive consultative service for North Wales. The job is to be involved and treat serious and complex cases to the highest standard. There is an emphasis on multidisciplinary management by oncology dyeing and service, head and neck, Orthodontic service and the North West regional cleft lip and palate network. We have strong academic, teaching and training links, with Liverpool dental hospital, Bangor and university, 'Edge Hill'. Main duties of the job The appointee will work with enthusiastic and supportive colleagues across the region to improve the comprehensive Consultative service for North Wales. The job involves treating serious and complex malocclusions to the highest standard. There is an emphasis on multidisciplinary management including orthognathic surgery and collaboration with restorative dentistry. There are opportunities to provide local orthodontic care as part of the Regional Cleft Lip and Palate Network (Regional Cleft Lip and Palate). We have strong academic, teaching and training links with Liverpool Dental Hospital, Bangor and Edge Hill Universities, along with the Mersey, Cheshire and North Wales quarterly meetings.
