As a Procurement Manager for Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust you will be reporting directly into the Head of Procurement and will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of contracts - releasing savings, adding value and obtaining the maximum possible benefits from the money spent on goods and services.
The post holder will be employed by Warrington and Halton Hospitals and will be based within the offices at Warrington Hospital, although you must remain flexible to work across different Bridgewater sites as and when required.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with a range of Clinical and Corporate Services, playing a significant role in supporting delivery of the Trust's objectives in providing a high quality and patient focused service whilst demonstrating value for money.
You will be educated to degree level, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (MCIPS) or currently studying.
