An excellent opportunity has arisen for an AAT, ACCA or similar, qualified Finance Manager to join a local company based in Bicester. You will be taking the lead on annual audits, managing a Finance Assistant and using bespoke accounting software.
Working 37.5 hours per week, hybrid working is supported.
Duties of the Finance Manager include:
* Manage and monitor all company finances.
* Process the cash book, purchase and sales ledger and bank reconciliation.
* Set up BACS payments using bespoke software.
* Raise invoices.
* Review and revisit unpaid invoices.
* Produce month end reports.
* Issue, process and reconcile petty cash.
* Create budget monitoring reports.
* Manage utilities including taking and submitting meter readings, utility usage and contract cycles.
* Coordinate company schemes and maintain a relevant database.
* Conduct annual audits.
* Create and distribute agendas, minutes, and action plans.
Personal Attributes:
1. Communication skills both written and verbal.
2. Strong computer skills being able to comfortably use Word, Excel and Outlook.
3. Be confident in learning and using bespoke CRM’s and Accounting software.
4. Previous experience in a similar role.
5. AAT, ACCA qualification or be qualified by experience.
