We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Cook to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for students in a high school environment. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency while creating a positive dining experience for students. Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to the school’s menu, ensuring nutritional guidelines are met. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen. Assist with meal planning, portion control, and managing dietary requirements. Monitor inventory, ensuring supplies are used efficiently and replenished as needed. Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff, school administrators, and suppliers. Follow school and government regulations related to food service in an educational environment. Requirements: Proven experience as a cook in a similar role, ideally within an educational or large-scale catering environment. PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) certification is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
