Operate heavy machinery to tolerance and profiles determined by our customers and obtain production goals. You would also: Operate CNC machines to manufacture door frame components according to production specifications and blueprints. Operate press brake and shear machines to shape and cut metal components, maintaining precise dimensions and tolerances. Use spot welding equipment to assemble door frame components as specified, ensuring secure and precise welds in accordance with safety and quality. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately produce components to required dimensions and standards. Inspect finished components and assembled door frames for defects, dimensions, and alignment. Ensure that all work meets company and industry standards. Perform routine cleaning, minor adjustments, and preventive maintenance on assigned machines to ensure peak performance and report any mechanical issues to maintenance staff. Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized work area. The Skills and Experience you need: High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education, training, and/or experience. 3 years of experience as a machine operator, particularly in metal manufacturing. Door frame production environment is a plus. CNC machine experience is required. Hands-on experience with press brakes, shear machines, and spot-welding equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures in manufacturing. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and handle repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed to meet production goals.
