KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.\n\nJob Title: Teaching Assistant Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)\n\nLocation: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Exeter and surrounding areas\n\nSalary: £29,400 - £33,600 (Depending on qualifications and experience)\n\nPackage includes: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + much more!\n\nType: Full time, Permanent\n\nKM have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant/Teacher, who possesses Leadership and Management experience, who would like to transition in to a new and rewarding career within the training industry to support Apprentices! \n\nEssential Criteria:\n\nMust have experience of working at Management level within a School setting as a Head Teacher / Deputy Head Teacher / Head of Year or similar\nMust have experience of working as a Teacher or Teaching Assistant (minimum of 3 years). \nMust hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Education (e.g. PGCE/CertEd/QTS etc.)\nMust hold a minimum of a Level 2 English and Maths / GCSE equivalents.\nExperience of delivering on-the-job training to staff would be highly desirable.\nOrganisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.\nConfident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.\nFull, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.\nMust be flexible with travel.Duties include:\n\nDelivering full Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standards L3-L5, and Operations Departmental Manager L5.\nManage a caseload of learners, conduct remote and face to face observations to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeships.\nManaging your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and completions.\nSupport learners through the End Point Assessment Process.\nOrganise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.\nSupport, advise and motivate learners.\nOvercome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.\nMeet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork and general administration.Please note:\n\nKM Recruitment receive a high number of applications for each role advertised and although we would like to we are not always able to deliver feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
