The school also prepares young people for the world of work, fostering their independence and self-esteem. Most of the learners who come to the centre have significant additional needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Autism or ADHD. About youWe require an enthusiastic and experienced teacher for our construction centre 'Building Opportunities.' Building Opportunities offers a range of construction subjects such as Bricklaying, Groundworks and Joinery. The centre caters for a wide range of learners from Ashcroft School and College's own pupils to those from other educational providers across greater Manchester. We're looking for a Qualified Teacher, either currently holding or working towards QT(L)S. You'll support the day-to-day smooth operation of the centre. Reporting on a day-to-day basis with the Senior Leader responsible for the Centre.
