Base Location: New Forest, Poole, Salisbury or Yeovil
Salary: £37,075 - £43,063 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Contractor Liaison Officer to join our Team. Our work covers the replacement of assets on our Electrical Power infrastructure which supplies our customers across Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
The Contractor Liaison Officer (CLO) will be responsible for onsite supervision of contractor delivered overhead power line replacement works under our Capital delivery program in the Wessex Region.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Surveying of works to be completed and producing detailed maps annotated with works required.
2. Ensuring the projects run smoothly with the correct supply and usage of free issue materials.
3. Trouble shooting day-to-day on-site issues with land access.
4. The position will involve dealing with contractors undertaking various schemes both on our overhead network and works involving changing plant and equipment in our substations.
5. Driving a safe working culture with the contractors by carrying out regular safety audits and engagements.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
1. Previous experience of Distribution Power Systems and construction of overhead power networks.
2. Be happy to accept and deliver challenges to drive improved performance and safety.
3. Have good communication skills and the ability to document and record project progress both on quality and financial governance.
4. Proficient in I.T. and Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, to aid in recording details of works completed or omitted, including snagging lists with timeframes for corrections.
