Property Lawyer
Are you an experienced Property Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' fee-earning and case handling experience? We are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual to join our growing team in Cardiff. As a Property Lawyer you will manage your own caseload, delivering excellent service to clients, and contribute to the continued success of the team.
Key Responsibilities of a Property Lawyer:
1. Managing a caseload : Oversee a diverse range of residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish, including sale and purchase, leasehold, and freehold transactions.
2. Client and third-party communication : Handle client inquiries, provide advice, and liaise with third parties such as estate agents, mortgage brokers, and local authorities to ensure smooth progression of transactions.
3. Document preparation : Draft legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and Land Registry forms.
4. Conduct searches and due diligence : Carry out necessary pre- and post-completion searches, including Land Registry and HMRC filings, and ensure all information is accurate and timely.
5. Maintain compliance : Ensure all transactions meet regulatory and compliance requirements, keeping files up to date and accurate at all stages.
