As the National Account Manager Ecommerce, you will be responsible for growing our brand portfolio with Amazon and Ocado. With substantial experience in generating sustainable, profitable e-commerce growth, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and help connect more consumers with our brands.
Your responsibilities include creating and executing the UK E-Commerce strategy aligned with SGS ambitions, developing strong business plans to meet growth targets, managing the full commercial cycle from forecasting to A&P investment, and ensuring marketing activities deliver positive ROI.
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage customer relationships.
* Manage the P&L for E-commerce (including Volume, NSV, GP, Distribution, BI, and Opex) with support from the Off Trade Director.
* Formulate and control key business processes such as weekly & monthly performance updates, demand forecasting, and annual bottom-up planning to build budgets.
* Develop clear business plans for secondary space investment and activation.
* Build positive, mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
* Collaborate with Commercial Marketing, utilizing internal and external sales data to support strategy and success.
* Own the rolling sales forecast, working with the Commercial Leadership and Finance Teams to deliver it monthly.
* Coordinate with key stakeholders across finance, logistics, marketing, and leadership.
* Identify new business opportunities and monitor market trends.
* Develop and implement monthly reports for Directors.
* Work closely with marketing and other sales channels to ensure alignment with the brand strategy.
* Identify and improve sales processes.
* Collaborate with Commercial Marketing to connect online execution with in-store amplification.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of solid sales/commercial experience, including success with national customers.
* Experience and knowledge of the e-commerce landscape, with a proven record of growth in this channel.
* Experience working with leading e-commerce consumers in the consumer goods sector.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, supporting and mentoring junior team members.
* Excellent forecasting, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
* Ability to utilize category insights to develop growth strategies.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify new opportunities.
