Pensby High School is an 11-16 years co-educational secondary school and we are seeking to appoint a dynamic, ambitious and committed third in maths. The person appointed will be an outstanding practitioner themselves and will already have a position of responsibility within school. They will be able to demonstrate the right blend of leadership and inter personal skills to provide vision and direction in support of the Head of Maths.
The core function of the post is to teach Maths with the ability to teach at key stage 3 and 4 are essential for this post. New appointments are supported by a tailored coaching programme and all staff contribute to a collegiate coaching programme.
The successful candidates will be expected to:
• Teach Maths across key stage 3 and 4
• Display and promote excellence in teaching and learning
• Inspire Pupils
• Have a commitment to raising achievement
