We are a good school looking for an English Teacher / English ECT to join our high-achieving, supportive, and welcoming English Department.
The English Department repeatedly achieves fantastic results, with high levels of A Level attainment and a large number of students choosing English Literature at KS5.
Pupil behaviour and CPD are highlights of the school. The pupils are attentive and love learning, consistently excelling over the past four years. This is an exciting time to join a phenomenal English Department that will support and mentor you through your ECT years.
Experienced English Teachers have the option to be put forward for additional responsibilities across the English Department. These TLRs can vary from KS3 Coordinator to 2iC.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• English Teacher / English ECT (Early Career English Teacher)
• Supportive ECT Programme - Consistently producing Outstanding English Teachers
• Additional TLRs available: KS3 Coordinator & 2iC
• Inspiring young minds
• Teaching to a KS3, 4 & 5 level
• Working alongside a team of Outstanding English Teachers
• Starting February or April - Full Time & Permanent
• MPS1-USP3 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in Hertfordshire
PERSON SPECIFICATION
• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining (Teacher training)
• Confident, passionate, and willing to go above and beyond for all pupils
• Currently graded 'Good' overall or even better, 'Outstanding'
• Ability to work effectively within a large team of English Teachers
