Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst Location : Edinburgh preferred, (Aberdeen and Bristol also considered) - Hybrid 2 days in office per week As a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst at Beam, you will assist with GIS requirements for an array of ocean energy projects. You will be involved with offshore map and chart creation, data management, data specification interpretation, report writing and processing digital deliverables. This position is crucial to supporting the geomatics and marine site characterisation team in delivering high-quality, client-focused geospatial solutions. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include: Contribute GIS support to data products required by Beam’s hydrographic survey and inspection projects, working alongside our geophysicists and data processors Utilise Esri’s ArcGIS Pro platform to deliver high-quality GIS products Produce layouts and generate maps depicting hydrographic and geophysical data. Ensure quality control and assurance of GIS data and charts against requirements. Work within an agile cross-functional team with colleagues to improve internal data management processes.
