Overview:
The Production Manager’s role is to oversee the manufacturing of products on site to set KPI criteria and the demand planning as goods to ensure LEAN manufacturing processes are being implemented.
The role will also manage the warehousing and stock level maintenance of dry and wet goods, to set KPI’s to manage cash-flow against business needs Manage the production staff and work cross functionally within the company’s departments to ensure the processes and procedures are being met.
The Position

* Ensure Efficient Production Scheduling: .
* Coordinate the lines and processes to maximize efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
* Ensure that all products meet the quality standards set by both clients and regulatory authorities, through thorough monitoring and regular quality checks.
* : Implement rigorous quality control measures at each stage of the bottling process.
* Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
* Conduct Audits and Testing.
* Maintain open communication with clients to understand and meet their specifications and timelines.
* Maintain adequate supplies of raw materials, packaging, and consumables to prevent production interruptions.
* Build and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective supply of quality materials.
* Implement cost controls and waste reduction strategies to minimize losses and manage production costs effectively.
* Implement Preventative Maintenance Programs:
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize labor.
* Evaluate and implement new technologies or machinery to improve production efficiency and quality.
* Implement practices that reduce waste, energy consumption, and water usage in line with environmental best practices.
The Person Specification
Minimum of 5 years management experience of manufacturing in FMCG
Experience of large-scale budget responsibilities.
Managing Financial, performance management and reporting systems and procedures
Proven experience of team management, successfully coaching & developing staff to achieve their goals
Highly numerate and articulate.
Management skills
Excellent communication skills
Must be methodical, logical and detail orientated
Excellent evaluative, analytical and interpretive skills.
Quality with food quality control skills
IT literate
Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
