About the role of a AC Engineer
We have are looking for a competent and confident AC Engineer to carry out maintenance within the M25 and Home counties. You will be given a van and set of contracts you will be responsible for.
Responsibilities for the AC Engineer
Carry out Preventative maintenance service visits on Mechanical Equipment as per SFG20 specification (e.g: VRV/VRF & Split Systems, HVAC Systems, Booster Pumps, Primary & Secondary Heating pumps, Pressurisation Units, small Unvented and vented water systems, Plumbing services, Waste Pumps, Trace Heating)
Carry out Reactive breakdowns of above services and Fault Finding when required.
Supervise subcontractors arranged
To complete reports
Respond to emergency breakdown and all outs in normal hours as well as when on call
Report any remedial action required on serviced assets and provide details for repair required. Requirements for AC Engineer
Previous relevant work experience in similar role (Min 5 years)
City & Guild Level 2 preferably Level 3 or equivalent qualification eg: C&G 6187 & 6187-21
Mechanical (HVAC) qualification 6189 - (Would Be an Advantage but not essential)
CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training qualification and valid Skill card
Confident oral and written skills
Available for weekend overtime
IT literate - Microsoft operating system and packages
Full and valid UK driving licence.
Must have clean criminal recordWhat we offer for the AC Engineer
Salary up to £46-£50k
40 Hours
On call every 5 the week
Lots of overtime on weekend which you will need to be available for
Van and tools provided
20 days AL + Bank Holidays this increase up to 25
