A TGI Friday… As a Senior Chef, you'll be the master or all back of house sections, taking ownership of the kitchen in the Kitchen Managers absence. You'll support with the day to day running of the kitchen, providing training and support to junior leam members to ensure high quality food and exceptional guest experience. Respond to Guest food complaints taking ownership and appropriate actions, or to escalate where necessary. Turning dissatisfied Guests into return Guests. Pro-actively communicates food related guest feedback to their Kitchen Manager helping to improve guest experience and drive feedback results. Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked. Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards. Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations. Commitment and delivery of brand standards (Fridays Feeling) and all aspects of food, fire Health & Safety for both teams and guests, taking personal accountability as if it were their own kitchen – when the Kitchen Manager is not in store or back of house. Operational knowledge of all stations within kitchen and preparation of all menu dishes when required. Ensures that all prepared food meets TGI Fridays standard of excellence, 100% recipe adherence and plate presentation guidelines. Ensure all chef team are clear on the food specifications and that dishes are perfectly executed every time. Skills & experience Previous experience working in a back of house role. Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. Good knowledge of Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
