What is digitisation?
Converting physical books, maps and other media into digital images for our worldwide users to search, view and add to their family trees.
Skills required?
All training is given, but experience in photography or digitisation would be an advantage.
What qualities will applicants have?
* Efficient worker - Digitisation is a balance between speed and quality
* Diligence - You'll be working with documents that are up to 200 years old and need to be handled with care
* Willing to undergo government security checks
Working Hours?
9-5, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour lunch break
