Within the Care in the Home division, we support children and young people with complex health needs to live at home with their families. We'd like you to join us as a Children's Support Worker at our young clients home in Plymouth. When you'll be working: Waking nights 2 nights one week (18 hours) / 3 nights the next week (28 hours). And continues to alternate like that. Every Tuesday (10pm-7am) & Thursday nights (10pm-7am) and alternate Saturday nights (10pm-8am) Please note you must be able to do a 2 week training course during Monday-Friday daytime before starting the role. Meet the Client: I am 6 year old girl and I love my tablet and enjoy watching Ruby and Bonnie Peppa Pig, dogs, cats, and baby Annabel videos. I like wrapping up my baby dolls and settling them to sleep. Currently I like doing rollie pollies, forward rolls and crabs copying my sisters gymnastics moves. I have a gastrostomy which I receive feeds and medications through but I can have small oral bites to eat. What you'll be doing: This role is to support a 6 year old little girl who has complex health needs in her family home overnight. This will involve staying awake for the full duration of the shift. Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
