About The Role Location: UK (must be able to travel when required) As a Lead Impact Analyst at TPXimpact in our Digital Transformation business, you will report to Imeh Akpan, the Head of Practice for our Research and Analysis team. You will spend at least 90% of your time on billable work across central government, local government, healthcare, non profit and private sector clients. Our projects can last a few days or years. This is a client-facing role, where you will be expected to configure and lead teams, manage a budget, and to hold commercial accountabilities when required. Working with our multidisciplinary teams, you will partner and collaborate with our clients, holding their confidence, and using your expertise and specialist skills to make progress, achieving their goals and objectives. You will also play a critical role in supporting the Head of Practice in the following areas: building our profile and growing our business e.g. Contributing to bids, business development, proposition development, public speaking and blogging acting as a line manager for around 4 people within your practice running practice-specific activities to support knowledge sharing across team members identifying and supporting L&D plans in your practice areas supporting recruitment, probations and performance improvement processes Responsibilities Leadership You will lead the Impact modeling and evaluation dimension of our client work as a Lead or Project Director, managing budgets, resourcing, client relationships and working with our teams to deliver successful outcomes. You will champion data-driven decision making, working with our multidisciplinary teams and clients to evaluate costs, benefits, risks, and impacts of approaches to meet organisational objectives. You will identify and adapt to different client levels of digital maturity, finding pragmatic ways to build capabilities with client teams through coaching and the development of learning materials You will co-design and contribute actively to Community of Practice activities You will lead business development activities such as bids, pitches, client presentations, drawing from your specialist skills and experience You will contribute to public facing activities such as public speaking opportunities and blogging Collaboration You will successfully collaborate with other specialists on projects, including researchers, business analysts, data scientists, to ensure robust impact measurement that demonstrates services and solutions meet user needs, stakeholder and business outcomes. You will adapt to the pace set by delivery colleagues or the client as needed, demonstrating the behaviours needed for clients to make progress towards their goals and objectives. Managing others You will line manage around 4 people in your practice which includes helping individuals address their goals and objectives, managing performance conversations, probation processes or occasionally grievances you will support the Head of Practice with recruitment into the practice or progression processes About You Skills and experience Essential You will have over 8 years of direct or equivalent experience in any of the following industries: management consulting with UK public sector or third sector clients, UK civil service, banking or investment, or other commercial environments. You are proficient in using relevant software and tools for data management and analysis (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Statistical computing with tools like R etc.) You have led and independently developed business cases (using the Five Case Model or others), spend reviews and briefing reports. This includes having demonstrable understanding of HM Treasury Green Book You have demonstrable experience leading in the development of robust predictive models and frameworks that enable teams to forecast outcome achievements with confidence. (e.g. Theory of Change, Logic Models, Benefit Realisation Plans, KPIs etc.) You have demonstrable experience of helping others to design surveys, collect and manage data You can effectively interpret and communicate complex data into clear, actionable insights through visually compelling reports for stakeholders with varying data literacy You have exceptional analytical skill across qualitative and quantitative methods, with proven experience leading and facilitating analysis and synthesis activities. You have excellent negotiation and relationship management skills You have the ability to operate in a dynamic environment, working on multiple projects at once. You have prior experience as a line manager You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire action among clients, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels Desirable Experience of embedding modelling and evaluation in agile environments and with service delivery teams. Awareness of planning for ethical and inclusive considerations including user grouping and segmentation design, participant screeners and recruitment Awareness of research tools for informed consent, unmoderated studies and analysis and insights (for eg. ConsentKit, Optimal workshop, Dovetail etc.) Awareness of YouGov and Office for National Statistics (ONS) for UK opinion and national statistical dataset Awareness of working in Central Government on Discovery, Alpha, Beta or Live projects, following the government Service Standard Behaviours and our PACT values Purpose: Youll be highly values driven, recognising that our clients needs are paramount.
