An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a crucial part in transforming our Adult and Community Education service and provision and create the best learning opportunities for all of our students.
Based at the Gateway Adult and Community Education Centre in Shrewsbury, the successful candidate will lead a team of staff who put the learner into the heart of everything they do.
We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about adult learning, and creative in planning its offer - making the most of funding opportunities, links with employers and wider stakeholders. We are planning to revitalise our provision, broadening the offer and embracing new opportunities.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, be an outstanding educator and have proven, excellent leadership skills. This will be coupled with a good knowledge and understanding of adult and community education, ESOL, maths, and English. Experience in Higher Education is also welcomed.
