Role Overview As an inventory analyst you will contribute to the overall inventory optimization. Within this position you will support the introduction, implementation and maintenance of the new Inventory Management System You’ll help us make health happen by: Classify and categorize inventory items (ABC analysis) to ensure accurate forecasting and replenishment planning. Configure forecasting models, reorder points, safety stock levels, and inventory categories within the IMS. Regularly monitor the IMS for any performance issues or discrepancies in data Monitor inventory levels in the system to ensure they align with forecasting and demand planning parameters. Use the IMS to generate demand forecasts and ensure optimal stock levels across all locations. Analyse trends in inventory turnover, lead times, and supplier performance to make data-driven decisions Develop and maintain reports and dashboards on key performance indicators (KPIs), including stock levels, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and forecast accuracy. Provide insights and recommendations to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and optimize replenishment cycles. Responsible for maintenance /update of the Genesis Item Master as well as the Peoplesoft Catalogue, ensuring they are both aligned Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Experience in inventory analysis, inventory management, or a related field. Experience with implementing or working within an Inventory Management System (IMS) or ERP system.
