Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as Warehouse & Logistics Manager within the Point of Care Diagnostics business line. This position offers an opportunity to have a positive impact to Siemens Sudbury, ensuring the day to day targets are met. You will have overall ownership of Warehouses across 3 local sites, as well as the Logistics team. This role is part of the extended leadership team (ELT).
Your Role:
You will be a direct report line for 2 Logistics Coordinators and 3 Warehouse Supervisors, with a wider Warehouse team underneath.
You will drive the warehousing and stores functions to ensure that all inventories raw components and finished materials are accounted for and managed at the highest level of quality and accuracy.
Manage a multi-site team, optimizing headcount and skill base ensuring the continuous on time supply of materials to production lines and that finished goods shipping dates to the Siemens distribution centres and branches are met.
Cycle count process across the site either perpetual and or wall to wall counting and shall ensure that the site inventory accuracy metrics are met and shall lead cross functional teams to achieve this.
Ensure compliance with all national and international legislation for the safe transport of materials and for the daily management of the inter-site transport vehicle and associated vehicle safety inspections.
Manage in accordance with Company policy all aspects of warehousing and stores functions throughout the Sudbury sites ensuring that these activities meet the company's operational and business objectives in a timely & professional manner.
Proactively challenging output and results driving daily meetings to ensure that Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Performance metrics are met and that effective counter measures are implemented where failure or potential for failure is identified.
Ensure the delivery LIFR performance is met with accuracy against S&OP.
Manage Logistics Coordinators to ensure compliance with country specific requirements and on time delivery.
Export Control and Customs (ECC) site contact, working with the Healthineers UK sites to ensure Sudbury remains compliant with export and import regulations.
Your Expertise:
Management experience within Warehouse and Logistics is essential.
Knowledge of Known Consignor and AEO.
Experience of working with an SAP.
Have a good understanding of finance and budgeting processes to allow effective analysis and cost centre spend control.
Knowledge of dangerous goods.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment while retaining strong attention to detail and decision making.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills and change management is a plus.
