Job Description & Summary
The Human Resources Services Advisor is the first point of contact for assigned client groups. The HR Service Advisor operates with considerable independence, discretion, judgment, and initiative to provide timely and accurate information and advice on policies, procedures, administrative and operational issues, and collective agreements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the primary contact for service-related questions from hiring managers, employees, and HR team members, managing HR requests from initiation to closure, including tracking and tracing. Ensure a high-quality user experience.
2. Deliver excellent customer service by resolving queries efficiently and striving to exceed expectations. Maintain knowledge of business operations and key contacts. Support HR calendar events such as IDP, MAP, and STIP salary reviews with ad-hoc assistance.
3. Utilize multiple HR and Payroll systems to support customer query resolution.
4. Share customer feedback with Service Specialists and suggest new HR technology solutions to enhance daily operations.
5. Monitor the quality of transactional work produced by the Hubs and track key HR service metrics.
6. Initiate changes in Workday as per process requirements.
7. Provide proactive advice to HR Business Partners and line managers on HR processes.
8. Contribute to local HR projects impacting the organization.
9. Maintain awareness of the roles and responsibilities of other HR teams.
10. Keep up-to-date with HR policies and procedures.
