About the job The Austin Company seeks a Project Manager / Contracts Manager to support our expanding construction team in delivering technically challenging Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences projects across the UK.
We design and construct heavily serviced and complex buildings for our expanding and established Client base. The position is ideally suited to candidates with a background in building engineering services who want to broaden their management skills with building structure and fabric delivery.
The ideal candidate has a grasp of the entire project / contracts management lifecycle and, with their technical understanding of building engineering systems, will lead a team of in-house designers and construction management professionals to be at the forefront of projects they lead.
In addition, suitable candidates will be able to directly coordinate project requirements with the Client team and report to them regularly with accurate written record keeping.
The individual must be capable of managing and interacting directly with trade subcontractors and be responsible for scope coordination at the pre-tender, pre-construction and construction stages through to commissioning for each work package.
This position will require working from our UK Head Office in Watford and, from time to time, on construction sites.
Full UK Driving Licence.
