WHO ARE NETWORK TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS?
The UKI Transport business has grown in size and capability since 2012, supporting all other UKI business units. Our c5,600 colleagues support our c175 customers, making 1.5m deliveries to 104 locations across the UKI, generating £675m in revenue (October 2023). NTS is committed to achieving zero emissions by 2030.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN ON PROGRAMME?
Our UK nationwide Future Leaders Programme is designed to develop Senior Leaders of the future. You will experience various Administrative and Management roles, interact with diverse customers, and engage with our Driver population. You will be trained in different transport systems and understand the legislation affecting our transport operations.
* 24-month structured Programme (2 x 12-month placements)
* Placements at a minimum of 2 sites
* Completion of Operation Departmental ILM Manager Level 5 Qualification
* Based in Warehouse or Transport Operations
* Early accountability and fast progression
* Experience in diverse sites and environments
* Regular performance feedback and personal growth planning
* Contribute to DHL's sustainability mission
* Network with the Graduate and Apprentice population
* Community involvement through DHL's Foundation
WHAT KIND OF WORK WILL I DO?
* Enhance customer and employee experiences and improve operational performance
* Support the running of a safe and efficient operation
* Prepare and execute shift handovers
* Conduct pre-shift meetings
* Manage individual and team performance against KPIs
* Participate in site projects
* Support Continuous Improvement initiatives
* Learn end-to-end processes
* Engage in CSR activities
* Manage people and relationships with Customers and Stakeholders
* Contribute to site development and lead projects
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
* A desire to be a People Manager
* No specific degree required
* A willingness to work in a team environment
WHAT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS DO I NEED?
* Fully mobile to relocate within the UK
* Must hold a valid UK driving license
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Fluency in English
* No minimum degree grade required
* Must have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years

Compensation
Starting Salary: £29,000 per annum, with increases throughout the programme.
