Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant (FTC 6 months)
Location: Sandicare, Nottingham
Responsible to: Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Responsible for: Accurate and timely processing of purchase ledger invoices
Job Purpose: Ensuring supplier invoices are processed
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Weekly Credit Card reconciliation on all Xero’s
2. Resolving Credit Card queries directly with internal departments and suppliers via Teams, telephone, email or in person as appropriate
3. Resolving purchase invoice queries directly with other internal departments and suppliers via Teams, telephone, email or in person as appropriate
4. Daily ownership of the finance email inboxes
5. Credit Card Supplier statement reconciliation
6. Dealing directly with supplier calls and emails
7. Maintenance of purchase ledger accounts
8. New account setup
9. Adhoc work as assigned by the Financial Controller or Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
10. Prior experience in purchase ledger
11. Experience using Business Central
12. Confidence and ability to communicate with suppliers and internally
Desirable:
13. Experience in ConnectWise
14. Experience using a document capture system
15. Experience working on Xero
