About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for two Finance Officers – Management Accounts to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy based in our Oldham, Bower House office three days a week and working from home for two days.
The overall purpose of the role is to ensure monthly financial processes and procedures are completed to provide accurate and timely management accounts information.

You’ll be able to demonstrate
Essential:
1. Good working knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
2. Experience of calculating and posting accruals and adjustment journals.
3. Experience of producing financial reports and related information for budget holders.
4. Experience of month end financial processes.
5. Good understanding of internal financial controls.
6. Proven customer service experience.
7. Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
8. Good oral and written communications.
9. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
10. Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of income and expenditure accounts and balance sheet (as appropriate).
2. Experience of annual budget setting and forecasting.
3. Experience of using Oracle Financials or equivalent finance system.
4. Experience of using Qlikview reporting software.
Qualifications
Desirable:
1. AAT/part qualified CCAB.
