We are currently hiring new Talents Job Description: Position : National Account Manager – (Consumer Goods / FMCG Sector) Position Reports to : Commercial Director – UK & MEA Location : London, UK Experience required is 3 years Previous experience with Amazon is an advantage. Position Summary: The National Account Manager (NAM) will play a pivotal role in driving growth, managing relationships with key accounts, and ensuring the strategic alignment of company objectives with customer needs in the consumer goods and healthcare sector. The role demands a strong analytical skill set and commercial mindset to identify trends, optimize sales strategies, and make data-driven decisions & business reports. The role will report directly to Commercial Director UK& MEA. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with national retail, Amazon, wholesale, and healthcare accounts. Manage day to day admin requirements of the role, i.e. NLF, promo form, POS execution, etc. Act as a key contact for the accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery. Develop and execute account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals. Sales Performance & Strategy: Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities within key grocery and pharmacy accounts and Amazon, developing tailored solutions. Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and budgeting to meet or exceed targets. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop best-practice execution plans. Deliver strong performance with excellent commercial mindset Data Analysis & Insights: Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to inform internal stakeholders and drive decision-making. Use advanced analytics to optimize pricing, promotions, and inventory management. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, finance, and cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution of account plans. Partner with customer teams to address challenges, resolve issues, and deliver win-win solutions. Negotiations & Contracts: Support contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with company policies and profitability goals. Monitor contract compliance and resolve any disputes or discrepancies. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Provide feedback to leadership on market dynamics and customer needs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in needed. MBA or Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum 3 -7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the consumer goods healthcare or FMCG industry. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and in Microsoft Power Point Proficient in marketing analysis tools (i.e. IRI is needed, Kantar/Nielson will be plus) Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and decision-making. Soft Skills: Strong commercial understanding and good understanding of retail and Amazon channels Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Strategic problem-solving capabilities.
