Role: The Technology & Consulting Director for Sabre EMEA leads the Technology Sales and Consulting Team, identifying and recommending Sabre’s technical solutions to meet the evolving needs of online travel agencies and eCommerce-driven travel businesses. This role drives strategic engagement, helping clients optimize their digital strategies and maximize growth. Responsibilities: Co-accountable to deliver the sales and revenue targets of the OTA Region. Partners and supports the efforts of the Commercial Sales Team Responsible for technical sales, including consulting the effective application and integration of Sabre technical solutions and services Is a trusted subject matter expert who collaborates with the strategy and commercial teams to define the market strategy for Sabre’s technical products, products, features and services offered by Sabre to customers with API-led operations Builds and maintains effective external relationships focusing on decision makers in the customer organizations building an understanding of the customer strategy to identify opportunities for value generation through the application of existing Sabre solutions, products and services Build and maintain effective internal relationships with Sabre teams in order to provide guidance on product investment, resource prioritization, definition product/solution MVPs, and the definition of the key performance objectives for support teams (HelpDesks) and other engineers responsible to support customers in the use of Sabre products Manages and develops the team responsible for consulting services and integration-support offered to online travel agencies in a rapidly changing environment EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL TRAITS: Ability to connect with a variety of audiences at all levels within and outside the organization. Strong verbal communication and listening skills internal and external. Experienced in customers presentation/ demos to upsell solutions. Proven experience in eCommerce in the travel industry, including E2E workflow & common operations knowledge. Deep knowledge of travel agency processes and operational standards. Understanding of global GDS industry including competitive environment including new trends and challenges in Air Distribution as well as their impact on the business landscape will be an advantage. Deep understanding of APIs and its applications and experience with customer API implementations Ability to lead a project and team. Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
