About the role and what you’ll be doing -
You will be the first line of contact for our dynamic team of engineers within the depot, running the workshop daily and ensuring all maintenance tasks are carried out and completed to the highest standard.
You will oversee our workshop team and take the lead on daily running of the garage.
This role will require you to liaise with other departments within the company ensuring strong communication is always kept, delegating tasks to our onsite vehicle presentation team and allocating specific tasks to team members. Alongside this, you will be working alongside our operational team to ensure that PVR is met at all times.
We have a variety of workforce within the depot, your leadership will be a key part of driving our team to strive for continuous high standards, deliver high efficiency and quality for our service users within the Highlands.
Your enthusiasm and keen eye for detail will be encouraged to help support the growth of even our most junior mechanics, all the way to our most experienced as we believe teamwork and professionalism is most important to propel our team forward.
With a new fleet recently launched in the highlands, you will be working with a combination of both diesel and electric vehicles. This exciting opportunity will give the right candidate a chance to progress their career and experience. We will help you further your own personal development through extended training and courses.
We are looking for someone who prioritises the safeguarding of all our workforce within the depot, ensuring excellent presentation of the garage and working areas, compliance with Health and Safety and company policies and procedures of safe work.

Who are we looking for? –
The successful candidate should have the relevant mechanical / engineering qualifications, have the passion for continuous improvement and bring a positive energy to the workplace.
We will require you to have relevant experience within a workshop supervisory role, excellent diagnostic skills and be able to demonstrate your adaptability to rectify complex issues.
We welcome new and exciting approaches to streamline the day to day running of the depot, this will always be supported and encouraged.
We are looking for someone to be confident in the delivery of their professional opinions and exercising their experience and imparting knowledge to our team.
You must be comfortable with speaking with our whole team, to deliver guidance and direction, alongside any staff briefings that need to be carried out.
