* HQ based in Hampshire.
The Role - Buyer / Procurement
My client is looking for an experienced Buyer to join the team; this will be a hybrid role between office, home, and site as required.
Duties:
* Procurement expertise; in-depth understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and contract negotiation.
* Technical knowledge of fire safety regulations (preferred but not essential) and materials used in construction and cladding.
* Compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Project management skills to coordinate procurement schedules with project timelines.
* Financial awareness in budget management and cost estimation.
* Maintain/build on supplier relationships.
* Manage risk and problem-solving skills for addressing supply chain issues.
* Managing and mentoring junior staff.
Salary to be increased if the candidate has experience in Fire Remediation.
