Overview:
In this exciting role in Brighton & Hove Bus and Coach Company Ltd's private coach division 'Spirit of Sussex', you will hold the critical responsibility of overseeing the coordination and execution of our Spirit of Sussex contracts. Your focus will be on optimising operational efficiency, particularly in the delivery of rail replacement, football and other commercial contracts. Facilitating smooth communication with local depots, you will maintain adherence to all regulatory standards related to health and safety.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate services such as rail replacement, football, festivals and other commercial activity.
2. Plan and maintain a safety policy for commercial contracts such as risk assessments and maps.
3. Oversee allocation of work to ensure efficient utilisation of resources.
4. Build and maintain good relationships with local depots to maximise commitments.
5. Manage punctuality.
6. Build duty boards to assist in the delivery of contracts.
You will need:
1. Competency with computer systems such as MS Word, Excel and role specific software such as Coach Manager.
2. Proven experience in operating commercial contracts.
3. Excellent time management skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
