Job Description
The role of Planning Manager will be responsible for:
* Ensure product availability by effectively managing procurement and supply chain processes.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Identify and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels.
* Collaborate with internal teams to forecast product demand.
* Monitor market trends and assess their impact on supply chain activities.
* Maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
* Lead and manage a team, promoting a positive work environment.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Planning Manager should have:
* A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Proficiency in using supply chain management software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
