Are you an experienced Product Quality Engineer from within an Aerospace, Aviation, Defence or Precision Engineering environment? We are seeking a Product Quality Engineer for our client based in South Wales. They are a world leading name for products, from concept through to manufacture, a leader of technical excellence within their field and due to continued growth across the whole group a Product Quality Engineer is required to drive and accelerate the Company\'s quality improvement programme to improve both internal and external quality for this growing company. Essential Responsibilities of the Product Quality Engineer:Product Introduction and Support validation requirementsActive involvement in new product introduction and change control processes e.g. NPDI/PPAP Develop, introduce and ensure ownership and maintenance of process controls initial and ongoing Develop and introduce, where required, processes for measurement and improvement of gauge, machine and process capability - initial and ongoing Contribute and participate in Material Review Boards Identify opportunities for improvement within the BMS and associated processes Work with the relevant process owners to implement improvements and lead/co - ordinate these projects Establish and/or take responsibility for various metrics, ensuring they meet agreed business targets Lead and/or participate in 8D and other problem solving activities internal, supplier and customer Provide Quality technical support to all areas of the business and to customers and suppliers Support companies internal audit programmes, undertaking audits as required Develop and maintain performance reporting systems databases, dashboards, reports, scorecards, roadmaps, ensuring data is collected at all levels to ensure drill - down ability to all relevant categories Co - ordinate corrective action reports, ensuring effective and timely closure and appropriate visibility Prepare customer documentation as required to verify product quality Verify the conformity of product quality to agreed standards i.e. through product audits and issue Airworthiness Release documents.
