We are recruiting midwives with a current interest in working in Antenatal Clinic, Community and Enhanced Teams, or Maternity Triage and Day Assessment Unit. All preferences will be considered for successful candidates.
Applicants are welcome from NMC registrants who are highly motivated and passionate about providing high quality, evidence-based care. The post holder will work as a member of our team, providing and leading midwifery care to service users and families.
Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive orientation programme and we assure that they will receive appropriate support and development.
Responsibilities:
1. To provide high quality, safe and evidence-based care across all settings; applying knowledge and skills to holistically assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within their scope of practice.
2. Facilitate informed decision making in all aspects of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
3. Establish and maintain effective communication with women and their families.
4. Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and wider organisations as required.
5. The post holder is accountable to maintain their own clinical skills and competencies to maintain their NMC registration.
6. The post holder will work within the NMC Code of professional standards, and Trust guidelines and policies.
