About The Post
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team here in Barnsley in the role of Subject Matter Expert. The Subject Matter Expert will share their expert Social Care knowledge to help shape and develop our systems and processes ensuring practitioners have the best tools to work with. You will be our professional lead across the organisation supporting good quality children’s social work practice.
Responsibilities
* Represent children’s services in working groups to scope and design change required using expert knowledge of children’s social care.
* Evaluate and recommend best approach to achieve desired change based on consideration of risks and benefits.
* Be children’s service link between IT and BI, to articulate requirements based on service need and statutory requirements.
* Involvement in scoping of reporting functions to ensure the system can provide the information required.
* Form part of data testing group, to ensure the system can provide accurate data sets.
* Be responsible for feeding into progress reports provided as part of business-as-usual arrangements.
* Work with service to continually monitor, review, and improve the pathways and practitioner experience on MOSAIC.
* Prioritise and allocate work within systems improvement team (trainer and data quality officers).
* Direct line management of systems improvement team.
