A primary school have came directly to Teaching Personnel for an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic team at a well-regarded school in Bolton as soon as possible. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education across a range of subjects, working closely with teachers to provide targeted support to students. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for education to make a significant impact on students' academic progress. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support small group sessions and whole class teaching under the guidance of the class teacher Provide high-quality support to students with diverse needs, including those with additional learning requirements Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, helping to differentiate activities to meet individual learning needs Help manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Work closely with teachers to assess, plan, and implement interventions for students needing extra support Support the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where necessary Key Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (minimum Level 4) Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role, with experience in leading groups of students Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and staff A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting a variety of learning needs A passion for supporting children’s development and learning A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) So, what are the benefits of working in schools through Teaching Personnel?
