Job Description
This leadership role requires driving operational excellence, sustainability, and performance while aligning with company values, objectives, and behaviours at one of our UK cement manufacturing plants in Dunbar, Scotland.
Main Responsibilities
* Safety First: Foster a culture of safety and health excellence by implementing effective risk management strategies and conducting regular site inspections.
* Drive Operational Excellence: Develop and implement plans to improve plant efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
* Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or business administration.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the cement industry.
* Proven track record of improving operational performance, reducing costs, and enhancing employee engagement.
Compensation and Benefits
* An estimated salary range of £100,000 - £160,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
