The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) Coordinator will join the University's specialist ED&I team, which sits in the Human Resources Division. The team is responsible for designing and delivering an ambitious programme of institutional and cultural change at the University. The team is forward-looking and committed to creating effective equality solutions. The ED&I Coordinator will work closely with the Head of ED&I and the ED&I Consultants, as needed, to ensure the smooth running of ED&I initiatives across the University. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive administrative and business support, coordinating meetings across governance structures, and overseeing the implementation of ED&I projects and tasks. You will also assist the team in administering ED&I related funds, supporting recruitment processes, and liaising with ED&I Champions and departments to drive forward our inclusion goals. The Role: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You should have experience meeting and diary management, note taking and working with multiple stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to your work. You must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. A key responsibility will be overseeing and administering ED&I funding, so experience in funding administration is critical. In addition, the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion is vital.
