About the role : We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our education team and play a key role in enriching the lives of children affected by trauma. You’ll be working in our small residential primary school, with the classroom teacher, to provide positive educational, emotional and practical support to individual and small groups of children. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the class teacher to support student learning. Support children with independence, confidence and social integration. Help maintain a well-organised classroom experience. Provide basic childcare, including first aid and hygiene support. Supervise children and ensure their health and safety (this may involve physical intervention). Participate in team meetings, training, and classroom planning. Be willing to undertake The Mulberry Bush Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Work with Children and Young People. Prioritise child protection and safeguarding, following all charity policies and procedures. Benefits: 50 days holiday per year (to be taken during The Mulberry Bush School holidays).
