Job Description:
SEN Classroom Support – September 2024
Are you interested in gaining experience working with children facing developmental trauma challenges? Do you want to see where your degree could lead you?
We are looking to connect a recent criminology graduate with an opportunity within a Trauma/Mental Health school located in Swindon. The school has an available position for a recent criminology graduate to join their support staff in a SEN Classroom Support role. Working as SEN Classroom Support will be a highly rewarding opportunity for the candidate to gain experience working with vulnerable or marginalized children. The school provides education to children facing challenges regarding mental health, developmental trauma, and behavior disorders.
As SEN Classroom Support, the criminology graduate will witness how children from diverse backgrounds with previous adverse childhood experiences can be more at risk of following a negative path within society. Criminology graduates will see how positive reinforcement and consistent encouragement can have a positive impact on children. The successful candidate will experience what measures are put into place to help vulnerable children and students who have faced marginalization or discrimination stay clear of the criminal justice system. This opportunity would be highly rewarding for any criminology graduate interested in following a career related to the criminal justice system or safeguarding the younger generation.
