Specification Sales Manager
One of the industry's leading suppliers of water reuse solutions is expanding its sales team. My client is seeking a Sales Manager to cover the Outside of London region, with the main focus being Manchester, Birmingham, and Cambridge.
Sales Manager will be paid up to £55kpa (DOE) + Car + Laptop + Phone + Bonus.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve agreed sales targets and KPI's.
2. Create demand for the system by working with specifiers, consultants, and contractors.
3. Build a pipeline of specified projects by creating strong relationships with consultants.
4. Educate and raise awareness of the client's product and service through regular CPD and client meetings.
5. Identify and develop new business opportunities.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information using the company's CRM system.
7. Provide knowledge on competitor activity.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in specification sales or a related field (e.g., public health, engineering/technical, water, drainage).
2. Strong understanding of the specification sales process and how to influence decision-making.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver CPD sessions to industry professionals.
4. Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel as required.
5. Experience managing a regional territory and familiarity with CRM tools.
