Vacancy Details
Duration: Permanent (for internal candidates a secondment with potential to go perm could be considered).
Location: This role is based in The Quadrant:MK. This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered. For Quadrant:MK, you must live within 90 minutes of The Quadrant.
Band & Salary: Band 3B 46,701 - 53,589

We are now looking for people with experience and ambition in a combination of the following: Change Management, Portfolio/Project/Programme Management, Business Improvement, Coaching Business Assurance, Workshop Facilitation and Business Benefit Realisation.
About the role (External)
About the team: Our team provides improved confidence and understanding in the way we manage our business, through pro-active business support, consistent business insights and improved capabilities in governance, assurance, risk, improvement and change management.
What does the average day look like?
As a senior team member, your role will involve:
1. Working with our core process areas, routes and regions, and linking in with our business units, to further improve the business and embed the way we manage our business framework.
2. Engaging with the industry and our regulators to support Network Rail in its preparedness for Great British Railways.
3. Facilitating and shaping solutions, developing strong business cases for change and improvement, and coaching our leaders in the delivery of benefits that enable better business and industry outcomes.
4. Advocating for and improving the core process for the way we manage our business including the 'Managing Change and Improvement' framework (process and policy).
5. Facilitating assurance on behalf of business change recipients to enable stronger collaboration and alignment with function, route and regional customer needs.
6. Linking change to process controls, risks, and our CP7 strategic business plan objectives.
Essential Criteria
Relevant experience in the successful management of major and complex change projects.
Experience of applying project methodologies.
Desirable Criteria
Member of project/change/quality association.
Commercial and financial awareness.
Knowledge of the principles of project and change processes and procedures.
Knowledge of/experience in the UK rail industry.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Proficient at Office 365.
