£49,707 – £54,975 35 hours per week Temporary until March 2026 Dundee (hybrid) About the role The SSSC are rolling out improvements in the way we deliver quality assurance to approved programmes and spearheading the development of local learning partnerships to facilitate closer and more effective working relationships between social work qualifying programmes and their stakeholders. This temporary post has become available to facilitate this work although the post holder will be involved in a wide range of our ongoing work within the sector. If you are the successful candidate, you will work alongside us to regulate, approve and reapprove social work qualifying programmes, childhood practice degree programmes and specialist awards for registered practitioners. We are looking for someone to play a key role in ongoing projects related to Continuing Professional Learning (CPL), the Supported First Year for Newly Qualified Social Workers, and the development of local learning partnerships and post-qualifying pathways for social workers. In this role, you will contribute to and host various annual conferences and events. You will collaborate closely with universities, government bodies, local authorities, and third-sector organisations, helping to shape and drive the future of social work practice, childhood practice and specialist qualifications.
