Reservoir Engineer This role sits within the Prax Upstream business unit
Prax Upstream is growing and we are looking for an experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our subsurface team to support our portfolio of UK operated and non-operated exploration and production assets, and business development activities. You will be adept at working and used to working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment across a wide range of assets.

Interpret reservoir engineering data including PVT, fluid, well test, pressure and production data
Build, maintain and history match simulations models working collaboratively with the subsurface team to ensure successful outcomes of static and dynamic modelling projects
Provide well performance analysis including production profiles and forecasts,
Provide input into production optimization e.g. debottlenecking and sensitivity analysis
Provide input into the design and evaluation of Field Development Plans (FDPs)
Provide input into drilling and completion planning including well data acquisition programmes
Post-well production evaluations and monitoring activities
Provide reservoir engineering support to new business evaluations including economic analysis
Technical Committee Meetings, workshops, conferences
Supervise external contractors for specialist studies
Master’s degree in Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering
Extensive experience in the UKCS within an operating oil and gas company including a solid working knowledge of exploration, appraisal, development and production activities
Skilled hands-on practitioner in building, history matching and using dynamic models for production forecasting
Fluent written and spoken English
Providing input to Reservoir Engineering elements of field development plans
Performing reservoir engineering riskand uncertainty analysis
Using analytical software techniques including knowledge of well testing tools (e.g.
