This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, support smooth business operations, and contribute to a key function within the finance department. The salary range for this role is £26,000 - £28,000
Please note: This is a fully office-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out bank reconciliations, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken promptly.
* Monitor and manage shared mailboxes, ensuring all requests are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Process incoming and outgoing payments with accuracy.
* Post bills and invoices accurately into the financial system.
* Manage nominal ledger entries as required.
* Collaborate with solicitors on ad hoc tasks or requests for information.
Requirements:
* A strong background in accounting (experience within the legal sector is advantageous but not essential).
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in IT tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively.
