Our Physiotherapy team at Parkside Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist to join our team. As part of the team, you will have clinical support available from your Senior Physiotherapists and the on-site Physiotherapy Manager.
As a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and rehabilitation for a variety of post-operative elective orthopaedic, women's health, and breast patients, as well as other clinical specialties, in line with our treatment protocols.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses and consultants to optimise the health and recovery of our post-operative patients.
As a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist, you will:
* Deliver high-quality, effective, and clinically reasoned care to meet our patients’ needs.
* Adhere to our values and beliefs where we encourage behaviour that is connected, aspirational, responsive, and ethical.
* Be compliant with all professional, clinical, and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes.
* Be able to work regular weekend shifts.
To succeed as a Bank Inpatient Physiotherapist, you will:
* Have a BSc (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
* Evidence of experience in orthopaedic inpatients.
* Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
* Be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals.
* Be a competent and confident IT user.
* Have the ability to prioritise and deal with a varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
