The Work
The primary responsibility of this role is to be a value architect in large enterprise (medium-sized to large opportunities) involving Workday HCM, Payroll and Finance platform implementations and ongoing maintenance, with the ability to individually create Solutions leveraging deep solutioning and delivery experience in one or more areas, while being able to develop these in a collaborative basis with the client including advising/co-creating the solutions.
Role Expectations
1. Architect technology solutions for Workday HCM and/or Payroll and/or Finance.
2. Represent the solution in conversation with Operating Group leadership and sales team, senior client buyers and functional owners.
3. Drive the necessary Technology Delivery sign off on solutions with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and preferences.
4. Work with the Operating Group sales team and Subject Matter Experts as required during the sales process; communicate/collaborate with delivery organization(s).
5. Promote the use of standards in solutions by coordinating with Legal and Commercial and directing Corporate Development Transaction Services.
6. Collaborate with the Operating Groups to provide input to Terms and Conditions, and in some cases, be accountable for specific contractual terms and conditions.
7. Work with Technology leadership to identify Point of Contact for delivery.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's What You Need
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on systems integration solutions.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering HCM and/or Payroll and/or Finance (ERP) systems preferably Workday.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with an expertise in at least 1 current technology.
4. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus points if you have:
1. Experience in Solution Planning and Deal Shaping.
2. Workday HCM and/or Finance certification.
3. Expertise/Experience in Workday systems integration and ability to give an Industry view of application portfolio/application transformation.
4. Very good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Good understanding of the application and infrastructure ecosystem in terms of Products and Technologies.
6. Ability to understand client business and technology drivers- business and IT alignment.
7. Strong capability to estimate, size, and come up with dependencies/assumptions in solutioning.
8. Strong aptitude to be an individual contributor.
9. Experience and exposure in collaborative technology solutioning including client workshops, joint solutioning sessions, and co-creation sessions.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
